I'd much prefer if the girls in this game had their respective clothing as an option. Hair and eye color changes are minimal at best. Hopefully by the final version there are options for the following.
I second the clothes thing. And characters with accessories on their head would be best (Chun Li, R. Mika). Do you just need graphics for each character or do you need to mess with the programming for each? Would be cool if people could insert/edit characters.
I need to think about how clothes will work, because if there are going to be more breast sizes and body shapes, that would mean drawing different versions of the clothes for every one of those options. It's doable, but I would rather work out a way to do it automatically.
I guess you don't need to make the same clothes for each body/breast size. Simply make the clothes fit the body type of that particular character.
For exemple: Samus has medium breasts, so you can draw her outfit to fit those. While playing, you would still be free to change her breast size, but then, her outfit wouldn't be available. You could also use her outfit on other characters, but that would force them to use medium breasts as well.
Sure this would narrow the options a bit, but I think it would make things simplier, and hopefully speed up the release.
This is just my opinion though. I've seen other games who worked like that, and they're fine.
