As I mentioned last year, I'm planning to spend a while just working on some of the more boring fixes first, as a lot of the recent features are still quite rough. I should be able to get on with more interesting updates soon though.
This weekend, I mainly worked on rewriting some of the penis animation code to improve lip alignment. It works much better now, especially with the more extreme sizes. I've also:
- Made it harder to miss her mouth.
- Fixed a couple of problems with the cough animation and the swallow animation.
- Fixed throat resistance not being saved, and some items not updating in the menu.
- Tested out a nose squashing animation when you push her down (it's automatic, so it should just work for custom noses too).

Sometimes you need to take a few steps back in order to take twenty steps forward. It's a lot of work, and I salute you for keeping your head up in those hard times where working on the game probably isn't a lot of fun.

It is a good thing to have people constantly requesting the same thing over and over again. It allows Kona to see what ideas are most popular, however, people need to lean NOT to get PISSED when they do not get a personal reply.
I support any decision that Kona makes and if it is something I relay want then I will learn to mod and make it myself.
You're right about the animation. Polishing that is the main thing I want to work on at the moment. I've concentrated on features for a while because I can usually update those faster, but I'd like to draw more hairs and costume options soon too.

ReplyDeleteOne suggestion that's not about the game: Newcomers keep showing up, seeing "Update" in the post titles, and asking where the download link is. Maybe it would be better to call it a "progress report" or something instead, to avoid that confusion.
Looking forward to seeing the fixed up animation and the nose-squashing effect!
I'm also in the camp that enjoys seeing quality improvements, not just new features. There's something satisfying about just seeing it work better!
About the "throat resistance" setting... I've noticed that no matter how high you set the slider, the throat resistance is localized at one spot in her throat, and as soon as you push past that spot it's pretty much *pop* right to the bottom. I think it would be more realistic (and imho more fun, too) to have the resistance take effect from that first spot where it is now--all the way down, so she has to fight it the whole way. I don't know if it would be feasible to make this another slider ("Throat Resistance drop-off" or some such)...
Other than that, I'd really like to see the controls set up so that whether you're in "reverse controls" or not, you always reach for her head after a pull-off by moving the cursor _towards_ her head, not away from it (in both regular and face-fuck modes).
Incredible artistry. Just... incredible. I'm one for the tiny details, the flutter of her lids, the eye movements... the attention to detail. That stuff is all outstanding. I guess if I could come up with one suggestion, it might be to increase the contrast for her sucked-in cheeks just a smidge (or make it configurable), so to make it more apparent.

What I really love about it, is the possibility to mod the lady of your choice into the game.
It keeps me coming back - and quite frankly, I wouldn't otherwise.
Since a rather large modding community grew around character customization, I'd like to request the implementation of moddable clothing such as:
- trousers
- skirts
- dresses
- t-shirts
- sweatshirts
- etc.
I do not, however, demand you create custom clothes for all of your existing characters but rather provide the basic code/menu functions for the community, maybe with an example set of clothing for your standard character.
I'm quite certain that the modders would take care of actual content development rather fast.
I believe the growth of the modding community as well as your fan-base as a whole would benefit greatly from this feature, as clothing true to the depicted characters should improve immersion as far as it could be possible under the current flash-gamey circumstances ;)
I also firmly believe that this feature would increase SDT's popularity way faster than niche-features would (e.g. futa).
I would like to request the clothing extension to be done right after the current animations are fixed.

For example, with the samus hairstyle, her hair band overlaps his penis and it looks kind of strange. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to make her hair elements attached to the same layer as the hair.
