DL v1.8.1b:
*edit* Fixed bug which was stopping general, intro and cum_in_eye dialogue.
This version is mostly updates to the dialogue system, as well as a few bug fixes and a loose arms option.
- Added priorities to dialogue types and more checks to avoid repetition. (This was previously just random, with a check to avoid the last used line. Now a line will not repeat until every other line has been used.)
- Embedded more characters with accents (Latin-1 unicode set), so they should be usable in dialogue now.
- Changed dialogue speed to be independent of frame rate, so it will type multiple letters per frame if it needs to.
- Added all:"CLEAR" to clear every default dialogue line.
- Added editable finishes. (Write finish:"CLEAR" to clear the default finishes, then finish1:"once", finish2:"twice" up to as high a number as you like, then add finishOther:"that many times" for any other numbers.
- Fixed "vigourous" type to be named "vigorous". There's a check for the old misspelling, so any existing imports should still work.
- Changed the dialogue export to remove the default dialogue lines, because it was just confusing. (They were only there as an example, if you actually include the default lines in your import they'll just be added like custom lines.)

I don't know how well it would work with the current bras though. A sag slider would be really amazing, but I imagine that such a feature could potentially be a very difficult thing to implement, so I can see how such a thing may not be feasible.

I'm trying to put your game on my cell phone using the automatic swf-to-apk converter located at http://eye.swfchan.com/services/ but it is sadly not working.
I believe the one and only reason it's not working is because you use the ContextMenu class - something that is not supported on mobile devices. At least that's what it says at the bottom of the page I linked to.

ReplyDeleteMore control over dialogue: I'll think about adding more flexible dialogue at some point, but for now I want to move on to other features for a while.
Context menu: I have put a try/catch block around this, but I don't think it will help much - there are a lot of other things besides that which don't work on the mobile Flash player. Worth a try though.

It seems to keep reverting to the "that many times" line no matter what I try. I think perhaps it has something to do with the default finishOther option not clearing correctly or something.
Or i could just be doing it wrong :P

ReplyDeleteIt would be helpful if the "previous" and "next" hotkeys were relative to whichever character you selected last, rather than ignoring characters you selected with the mouse, but I've done enough programming to know that sometimes it's the seemingly trivial things that are virtually impossible, so if that's the case, no worries.

ReplyDeleteIts a very cool little program. Since I found this I have been trying to find a downloadable game that allows various sexual positions. But nothing I've found is as cool or infinitely playable as this one. If only I could get a game that had it all. Here's a suggestion for further dialogue customization: having the option of making different dialogue sets depending on how many "finishes" you've done. Eg. define a dialogue set to activate after >2 finishes and another after >5 or something. This way you could make the character change their behaviour, such as becoming more submissive or the like. Possibly simple storylines could be made in this way.

ReplyDeleteWhen you do get back to updates for the dialogue, I agree with the comment "having the option of making different dialogue sets depending on how many "finishes" you've done" ..if you write extensive lines for any given section, it seems to "re-set" and start over after a "finish" so you never get to later lines in your custom dialogue. Or maybe it would be possible to load a completely different dialogue based on a "pull_off" or "first_throat" type trigger.

It gives me a text file that contains dialogue_name:"Default" and nothing else. If I loaded that, would it give me the entire default dialogue set? If not, what am I missing and how do I export the default dialogue? Thanks so much.

ReplyDeleteI figured out what I was doing wrong- forgot to put quotes around CLEAR when I put the all:"CLEAR" command in. Works fine now.
ReplyDeleteI've worked out a dialogue file that seems to work fine for me. I tried the all:"CLEAR" command which DID NOT WORK so I put that line along all of the seperate "CLEAR" commands, which solved that problem though being kind of obsolete in this case. Result is great except for the finishOther-line, it keeps referring to the default "that many times" as someone mentioned earlier. I even tried finish:"CLEAR" and finishOther:"CLEAR" in the default section of the dialogue file. Bad scripting on my side?

Something else on this subject: the pre-cum routine seems to be off. It just repeated two lines of the custom dialogue while there were more to choose from. I deleted those lines, now it won't show any pre-cum lines at all anymore...

Hey, I just had an idea, often some people talk about including a handjob mode, and although not something I personally care much, I have thought something. I'm having a weird new glitch, and I'm not sure if it's the game or my computer, but no matter what website I play the game on, there's a huge glitch, where everything is set to a weird setting called "SD Chan" making characters and clothing flash. I can't change the character (it says "Button" listed on a more recent version), and it's really just annoying to try and change everything back to regular settings. The SD Chan thing isn't selectable after you switch the item off it, but automatically goes back to it if you refresh the page.
