Weekend update

Not a release I'm afraid, all of the new features are still incomplete, but at least there are some pictures this time.



I got sick of wrestling with the shape tweens for closing her mouth smoothly, so for a break I started working on a better character menu. I've been meaning to do this for a long time, because the current menu is pretty useless. I think this is a lot better:

As you can see, there is also now the ability to store your own custom characters. If you have imported files, it will try to find them in your chosen folder (by default the same folder as the swf is in, or you can set it to something like /hairs), but it will have to ask for a manual file path if it can't find them automatically. It's annoying that Flash's security stops you from getting the file path automatically from the browsing dialogue, but this seems to be the best way of getting around that.

Once you've stored a custom character, as long as you don't move the files, you'll be able to load the character straight from the regular menu.

As for the swallowing animation, I finally got Flash to do what I wanted, so this is where it's at now:

It's not perfect, but I think it's nearly there. Throat animation and sound effects are next.

Finally, I still need to draw the rest of him and extend the backgrounds downwards a little for the fully zoomed out view, but here's a preview shot of her full body. As I said before, I'm not much of a figure artist, but hopefully she doesn't look too bad.
